Players React After The Browns 13-10 Victory Over Chicago
(On how he felt after the first two series)- "We were frustrated, obviously, the first play of the game. We turned the ball over and you never want that. That's really unacceptable, but it's just one of those things that happened. I was really proud of the group of guys that were out there to be able to respond to that type of adversity when they (Chicago) get a touchdown and then our defense gets us a turnover and we go score. We kind of flipped turnovers there, but got points out of it. I really felt like we got in a groove and really moved the ball pretty efficiently. I would have liked to score some more points, but just to be able to play in a game and get a rhythm going, get a feel for defenses and the guys I'm playing with, that part was really good."
(On his first extended playing time)- "That's all I've been hoping for, just to be able to get into a game. I'm blessed to be able to go out in the first half and start the game. That was really pretty special and for a couple of series there, we were going against some of their ‘ones'. To be able to drive against them and to score against them, I thought, give credit to all the offensive line and the backs. Montario (Hardesty) did a great job when he was in and the receivers caught the ball really well. I felt like offensively in the first half we did pretty well."
McCoy Perfect, Hardesty Hurt, and Browns win 13-10
Colt McCoy played a perfect, yet conservative night as a passer and the Browns lost Montario Hardesty to an apparent knee injury in a 13-10 win against the Bears Thursday night decided on a Phil Dawson 36-yard field goal as time expired.

Things got off to a rocky start for the often scrutinized McCoy when he fumbled the Browns first snap from scrimmage and turned the ball over to the Bears deep in Cleveland territory. The Bears back-up QB Todd Collins took little time to capitalize in delivering a 15 yard TD pass to Greg Olson to give Chicago and early 7-0 lead.
McCoy however would settle in and take advantage of a run-heavy conservative play calling scheme from the coaching staff. Following a Bears fumble deep in their own territory, the Browns turned to the much hyped rookie running back Montario Hardesty to get them on the board. Hardesty plowed his way on three consecutive runs to get into the end zone on a drive that started on the 13 yard line to tie the game at 7-7.
