T.O. To The Bengals Will Create Drama In AFC North

One of the NFL's most entertaining characters and great talents joins the AFC North, Terrell Owens has signed a 1-year $2Million dollar contract with another $2 Million in Incentives. Which includes $333K each for passing the following milestones; 60 catches, 100 catches, 900 receiving yards, 1,300 receiving yards, 10 touchdowns and 14 touchdowns.

T.O and his new team mate, have teamed up on VH1 with their own reality shows, and now will team up on the Cincinnati Bengals. The additions of Owens and Antonio Bryant adds some much needed talent to the wide receiving corps of the Bengals, something of which they have been missing since T.J Houshmandzadeh departed for the Seahawks.

Carson Palmer is now the happiest man in Cincinnati, with his shiny new offensive weapons; the Bengals aim to copy the production of the 06' and 07' seasons when Carson Palmer threw for over 4,000 yards and 25 touchdowns in each season.  Palmers 08 campaign was shortened by a lingering elbow injury, and in 09 he bounced back to a degree throwing for 3,094 yards with 21 touchdowns and 13 interceptions, resulting in a quarterback rating of 83.6.

Terrell Owens definitely has the speed and size to contribute, but it was his off field antics which made it tough for him to find work this off-season. Known for his show-boating, some of his most notable ones, posing on the Dallas Cowboys mid-field star, the sharpie in the sock, downing some popcorn, and many others.

Last year Owens saw the first less than 1,000 yard receiving season since 06', gaining only 829 yards on 55 catches with a dreadful 5 touchdowns. His stats should only go up now that he doesn't have the horrible Buffalo Bills QBs tossing him the rock. Not to mention the AFC North has huge secondary problems, Ravens with an injury plagued defensive backfield, the Browns have a bunch of unproven young players, and the Steelers just aren't the same without Polamalu who is now an injury concern.

The Bengals signing of T.O makes the fight for AFC North supremacy all the more interesting. And with the Browns having to play them twice, in week 4 at home and week 15 in Cinci. The Ravens seem to be the favorite with their high pre-season power ranking, ESPN has them at 5, but there might be a new contender in the division with T.O in the mix.
