RK (LW) TEAM REC COMMENT
(1) Yankees 62-35 The Yankees head to Cleveland for a four-game series as A-Rod is sitting on 599 home runs, should be interesting this week.
(2) Rays 59-38 Took 2 out of 3 from the Indians over the weekend and finally broke the losing streak in Cleveland that extended to 18 games on Friday.
(3) Padres 58-39 The Padres have a 3-game lead out in the NL West and the best record in the National League.

(5) Rangers 58-41 Strong 7-game lead in the AL West has the Rangers thinking October baseball.
(4) Braves 57-41 The Braves have a comfortable 5-game lead out in the NL East as the Mets and Phillies have struggled coming out of the gate in the 2nd half.
(11) Giants 56-43 Here comes the Giants as San Francisco has won 8 out of their last 10 to take the lead in the NL Wild Card race.
(6) Red Sox 55-44 The AL Wild Card race may be a done deal if the Red Sox keep playing as poorly as they have.
(7) Cardinals 55-44 5-game winning streak has the Cardinals back in first place in the NL Central, at least for now.
(10) Reds 55-45 The Reds and Cardinals have a great race going in the NL Central that has gone back and forth all year.
(8) White Sox 53-44 We have a 3-team race in the AL Central and it is going come down to the last week of the season.
(13) Dodgers 53-46 6-games back in the NL West may be too much to overcome for the Dodgers.
(15) Twins 53-46 The Twins are only 1 game back in the AL Central race, will they add a player or two by the trade deadline?
(16) Phillies 52-46 5 games back heading into August will be a real challenge for the Phillies to overcome.
(12) Tigers 51-46 The Tigers are right in the battle in the AL Central, only down 2 games.
(9) Rockies 51-47 5-game skid has put an end to the playoff talk in Colorado this year.
(17) Angels 52-49 The addition of Dan Haren may be too little, too late.
(19) Athletics 50-48 The A's are hanging around in the AL West race but still have a long way to go to catch the Rangers.
(14) Mets 50-49 Last week pretty much killed any playoff hopes for the slumping Mets.
(18) Blue Jays 50-49 Toronto is a .500 team and don't have much hope of getting any better than that this season.
(20) Marlins 49-49 The Marlins are taking baby steps to get back in the race, but it's a long shot.
(21) Brewers 47-53 The Brewers have been playing well but might not be able to overcome their terrible start to the season.
(22) Cubs 45-54 The Cubs can't seem to get on a winning streak to get back in the race.
(24) Royals 42-56 The Royals are playing hard every game and they are no longer an easy win for contenders.
(23) Nationals 42-57 The Nationals have a bright future, just not this season.
(25) Indians 41-57 The Indians are looking better everday and could contend as early as next year.
(26) Astros 40-58 The Astros have a few very good players, but just not enough to contend this year.
(27) Mariners 39-60 The Mariners are in full re-build mode after the trade of Cliff Lee to Texas.
(28) Diamondbacks 37-62 Arizona has been a disappointment this year with all of the young talent on their squad.
(29) Pirates 34-64 The Pirates will be up and down the rest of the season but their kids have a ton of potential.
(30) Orioles 31-67 It has been a long season in Baltimore.
