The Pulse Of The City: The Fans Make Cleveland!

I was happy to see a good crowd at the Gladiators game Saturday night, at The Q, which featured some members from the Dawg Pound, and different Cleveland celebrity personalities in the house. The crowd and the passion they showed is what leads me to this weeks edition of 'The Pulse Of The City'.

During timeouts at the game, true friends of Cleveland were given a microphone to talk about the city, and the fans that have made it the greatest sports town in the world. They was an array of different people speaking, like Josh Cribbs and members of the Dawg Pound, to different radio personalities in Cleveland, that showed us all the passion and love that Cleveland fans have.

Cavs fans are one of the best in the NBA.

It was uplifting to hear that our fans are well scattered throughout America, and that our teams are well represented, regardless of the sport. The most important message that was delivered, was the fact that one person doesn't make this city special, but we the fans are what has made Cleveland a great place.  Whether you live here or just stop in for a visit, it is us the fans that make it fun and exciting to go to any event held in this wonderful city.  Whether it be for a sporting event, or one of the many great summer festivals throughout Northeast Ohio, where you can get the best gyro you will ever have at Nick's Gyros, it is the people that make this city stand out.

I have gone to a lot of concerts in downtown Cleveland, as well as many sporting events, and I have loved every single time I have. We will move on as Clevelanders, but we will never forget the backstabbing job you did to us LeGone, and if I were you, I would be a little scared to come back into town when the Heat roll into Cleveland, because there is going to be a lot of passionate fans that you betrayed, that are going to want to let you hear about it. Well, until next week, this was another edition of The Pulse Of The City!

Personally, I think that when LeBron is introduced during the start of the Cavs/Heat game at home, no-one should make a sound, not so much as a peep. By booing him, or yelling at him, we're giving him all the power. We're showing him he still gets to us, that he still matters (when he clearly doesn't). Any attention to an egomaniac like him is good attention (in his mind). I say we ignore him, be totally indifferent to him - THAT is what his ego won't be able to handle.

Two years ago my brother bought me a lagone jersey for xmas, i said to him what's this you know i'm a cavalier fan. I root for the team not just lagone. And thats my point, I'm Cavs, Browns, Indians, and Ohio State fan the heck with lagone I'm glad he's gone now we don't have to listen to no more excuses about not winning. When he's in south beach and they [miami heat] don't win anything I'm going laugh. Because lagone then you"ll have all of the united states against you. Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha. GO all Cleveland teams and GO BUCKEYES National Champions Baby!
