Why would he tell Bosh to go there if he wasn't thinking about staying? He didn't screw you out of nothing your owner did. You give a player that much power and you get mad when he does something for himself. Bosh didn't want to come to Cleveland cause no other big name wanted to come. Lebron was there for seven years until his time was up period. I just don't see how you put one blame on a person. The Cavs were stupid for not exploring their options like New York did. How didn't Cleveland know that Lebron wasn't gonna resign. Everyone knew that we just didn't know he was going to go to the Heat.

He may have tried to recruit Bosh here, but do you really think that Bosh was going to commit when LeBron himself hadn't stated where he was going to play? He screwed himself (and the Cavs) out of a Championship when he signed that three year deal. We couldn't get any big names to commit because he wasn't committing.

lol @ giving Gilbert props and now the Cavs will never get a big player like that again. Who wants to live in Cleveland lol. What passion to win? If he had a passion to win he would have tried to get Bosh or someone big there with Lebron

I really never liked the Cavs or Lebron anyway. But now I dislike lebron even more and the miami heat. i bet they won't get a title this year. And forget about the cavs even making the playoffs lol. And I think its a STUPID assumption to say that the cavs will win a title b4 the heat. remeber they have to go to the playoffs first lol. I think its just stupid to have 3 superstars on one team. it takes away the excitement to the game. P.S. GO KNICKS!!!!!!

All of you fools are wrong Cleveland did everything within their power to help lebron but he in the long run decided to leave long before the 3 year free-agent contract if he had said after 3 years if we don't win I'll be leaving which we all knew and gave the cav's a chance to replace the time and talent lost with better talent like most free agents in the past have there would be no hate. But when he tanked the Celtic games and everyone knows he tanked game no.5 then take your fans through a wait and see while bosh and wade do what you guys planned way back 3 years ago and then act like you made the decision just the day of your hour long show C'mon Son you tried to make an ass out of the team that made you the focal point and so- called chosen one who couldn't lead the team to the championship only to the most wins in a season then tank it in the playoffs

All of them are in a whole different situatiOns , lebrOn did what is best for his career. Those haters are just envy of him, and I doubt if Jordan, Barkey , Magic can take him one On one ...loL.

this my first time leavin a comment so ima make it a good one. you read all these comments from people trashin lebron, callin him names and shit. sayin he garbage, and was this and that. u got dan gilbert sayin all the trash bout lebron, sayin he quit. you wonder, wat the hell would they have been acting like if he decided to stay. cleveland fans probably woulda been celebrating this entire time. instead, because a grown ass man decided to leave, not demand a trade, not promise to join, but change his mind at the last minute, he not loyal. Cleveland fans and dan gilbert making this decision better and better on lebrons behalf. cleveland fans need to just recognize life aint over and be happy they still have a good enough team, and be real wit yourselves. yall lookin more childish than anything right now

Ok. first off, im a 16 yr old from augusta, georgia. so forgive me if im missing something that the cleveland ppl are experiencing. but i think you all's expectations of him didn't quite meet with reality. if it wasn't for lebron, i could say 70% of yall wouldn't have been cleveland fans. he doesnt wanna be jordan, bird, or magic. he wants what they have-RINGS! (and they didn't win them by themselves) for the past 4 seasons, he beeen trying to carry the cavs on his shoulders. in 07, got swept in the finals. in 08, lost in the 2nd round to the celtics. speaking of that series, lebron score 45 points i think in the deciding game. paul pierce scored i think 43. now if lebron is the only option on the cavs that was capable of scoring 40 points while boston had (has) 3 options to score 40 points, what does that tell you??? think on it. anyways, in 09, lost in conference finals. and finally this past season was a repeat of 08 except in 6 games. everybody said he betrayed cleveland. now lets be real. cleveland promised him helped. then when they so called brought him "help", why was he still having to take over a game. and why did everyone say "he" gave away the boston series? he was supposed to have help. so blame the cavs staff. they promised him help, but failed to do so. and personally, i think if the cavs played sebastian telfair and gave j.j. hickson more minutes, bron would have had a little bit more help. before i go, i have two more points to prove. when kevin garnett left minnesota for boston, not once did he get criticized. and e when wade had the chance to go to chicago and turned it down, not once did he get criticized. bron wants rings. and he is willing to win some where ever he saw fit. it wasn't like miami were the team to beat. they weren't even contenders. and how are yall gon compare him to benedict arnold??? really??? yall categorized benedict arnold as a traitor and associated that with bron. for one thing. kno the history of why he was considered a traitor because if you are considering bron's decision as an act of disloyalty, he still isn't a traitor. do ya research on benedict arnold please. and i also say you all are ungrateful because he put cleveland back on the map. for seven yrs yall had the greatest active player. he came into every game at quicken loans not only played to win but to please the fans. read and listen to the interviews for proof. he grew up in the nba in cleveland and its time for him to move on. because he don't want to be ringless like charles barkley. and look at charles now-a ringless trash talker. srry cleveland. but the dude wasn't supposed to stay there forever. stop thinking about yourselves and move on. im a die-hard lebron fan and i must say, if it wasnt for him, i wouldn't be a cleveland fan. but i just think you all are showing unsportsman like conduct.

why would you want to resign o'neil? byron scotts philosophy is run-and-gun, theres no place for a guy like shaq on this team lol. one thing super annoying about this whole lebron thing is all these snot-nosed, foul-mouthed kids from miami leaving less than desirable and outlandish comments on the subject. whats with the people in miami? everytime they post this ignorant garbage they make miami look like a beach full of soon to be convicts. is that how the younger generation conducts themselves down there? if so, them lebron will be a perfect fit.all you saying that the cavs, themselves, didn't show up to play need to look at the stat sheets again (or probably for the first time) i'm not going to copy and paste them all, but to say the cavs didn't come out swinging is absurd and misguided. - just like the quitter himself - absurd and misguided. i'm glad he's gone - one less punk on these streets. can we just go back to being normal CLE residents like we were before he got drafted?GO BROWNS GO INDIANS! as for the cavs....if watching excruciatingly bad basketball is your thing then more power to you. miami will make some noise but will fall flat in the playoffs - watch the lakers or the C's - totally balanced starters and benches - miami is totally unbalanced and teetering on being a 3 sided, egomaniac monster. that never works in the nba - just you watch. we'll all being laughing our OHIO asses off. can't wait!

I am sure that most people from North East Ohio would love to forget about Lebron. He's gone and the Cavs must move forward. HOWEVER, every time Lebron makes a comment about Ohio and says that the people will love me in a short period of time....Sorry! But I have to respond to LBJ's disillusionment. Do Browns fans forgive Art Modell? In a word...NO! And the same thing applies for LBJ...I will never forgive him. So, if LBJ wants to stop people like me from responding...just focus on your game and stop talking about us, because we do not want to hear it.In the end, you may be one of the greatest NBA players ever to play the game, but in my mind and my children's mind, the image that will stay with us will be the last three games of the Cavs-Celtics games which IMHO you tanked and your decision where you took a big steamy dump on the people of NE Ohio.

anonymous how you figure he wasn't loyal? He left to win. He happened to get drafted by Cleveland cause they had first pick. At the end of the day it's about what that individual wants to do. No doubt they built the team around him, but they failed to bring in an all star to give him help. Cleveland wouldn't have been ish if he didn't do what he did. Be real kid

Cleveland is a great city with great values. Sorry it doesn't have everything to offer like Miami, New York and Chicago. I actually live in NYC but was born in Cleveland. Living in Cleveland is amazing because everyone is nice to everyone else. All those other cities, it's every man for himself. LeBron will get eaten alive by the media for the rest of his life now. Good riddance. GO CLE!

um WATTUP, it's a trio not a duo and where do u live DADE county?? C'mon Son, If Lebron wasn't loyal to his own city where he was born n bred what makes u think he will treat Miami any different. If I work for a company who builds a whole program around me and we tryin to make millions of dollars, then one day I quit and not tell my boss and go work for the competition, C'MON SON?????? That is irresponsible selfish immature unexceptional and so WRONG!!!! SO I don't think your young minded crack era dade county born and raised self should be saying anything about Lebrons loyalty to Cleveland, He could leave he plays ball no doubt, his career all that, BUT ITS HOW HE DID IT!!!!!!!! DO YOU UNDERSTAND< HE WAS A FREE AGENT< AND Z LEFT TOO 2 Go to MIAMI , BUT WHEN HER LEFT GUESS WHAT ???? HE said, THANX CLEVELAND FOR YOUR LOVE AND SUPPORT WE ARE THE

I know what will happen next. Disgruntled angry Cleveland fans will now try to find something to bring Lebron down, some type of off court scandle. His life is actually in danger. The media is waiting, lurking, like a hungry lion. This country love to "hate".

You still have a [very good team.] Pick up T-Mac, he would replace James ! Don't dump Delmonti either. We can pick up T with a couple picks and some cash. And you do [now] have the Coach with QUICK BRAINS that has been the trouble for several years. What are you Cav's waiting for?? I look foward to see a couple of these ones shine when given the chance that they NOW have!

I think not having a father really hurt Lebron. Outwardly he's seen as an alpha male, and having everythng under control. But actually he's one who seeks approval from his peers. Always wanting affection, approval, and acceptance Lebron was never a true leader. If he were he would've convinced others to join him, instead of him joining someone else's A truly great player would get some other guy to join him, he wouldn't join some other guy's team-that's crazy in the world of the ultimate competitors. A father would have convinced him otherwise, and his mother wouldn't be doing his teammates.

Jordan said he would never have called up Bird or Magic and team up with them. BUT he also said it's a different time right now. If you look at the formula for NBA championships the Lakers have won the most in the past ten years because they have a great ALL AROUND team. An d Boston is always facing them in the finals... Why? Because they have THREE solid players and now Miami is using that same formula. Why is noone blaming management for this? If they could keep him happy for 7 years I'm sure they could have wooed him again. Or they could have put better effort towards grabbing Wade and Bosch so that WE could have a championship but they bricked.
