This Week In CSR

Cavs Back On Track, Ohio St Keeps Shining

Yes, it is once again time for another edition of "THE WEEK IN CSR" and with that we begin with the Cleveland Cavaliers. They ran into their first road block of the year having to go through a 3-game losing streak but since then have really turned it around as Lebron keeps doing his usual fine display of basketball art and has the team rolling right along. One thing I noticed when Cleveland had lost their 3 games in a row was their energy level just wasn't really there and they weren't playing Cleveland Cavaliers style defense that you have come to expect over the past couple of years from Mike Brown and staff.

Mo Williams has stepped up for the Cavs during their 4-game winning streak.

Who knows if it was just that the guys took an extended amount of time mentally for all-star weekend or not, but they weren't back in Cleveland that's for sure. Now, Cleveland absolutely destroyed the Knicks on Monday and I'd say they are doing extremely well without the services of Shaq.  Now word has it that Big Z will more than likely be headed back to the great city of Cleveland, Ohio as he is one of us and heck that's where his family is so I'm really glad to hear about that.  Now, in terms of certain television personalities saying that Orlando has the best bench in the East is way beyond my liking and to be honest that's the biggest load of you know what that I've heard. Other then Kobe still being called by many as the best baller in the NBA, which just isn't the case and let's all remember that these opinions if you will are based on his game winning shots and his multiple rings.  If anyone knows me well enough they should know that Mr. Broulis here likes to look at the entire body of work and that means points, boards, assists, steals and blocks and there's just no comparison who in the NBA has the best overall game out there it's simply yours truly, Lebron James.

Now a quick little tidbit on Evan Turner and the crew down in Columbus as they have really been moving up the ladder and now are ranked in the top 10.  People I can't say it enough that what Turner brings to the table can't be taught but is something you just are born with.  It's that "IT" factor that you hear people talk about which he most definitely has. Now I hear that John Wall is still the front runner for being the #1 overall pick in next years draft but I'm really starting to hope that Evan Turner starts to get some consideration for that honor.  I just wished that Cleveland could get his services, but let's just hope the Buckeyes can roam deep into the NCAA tournament soon. Well, with all that being said I hope you enjoyed another edition of "THIS WEEK IN CSR" and remember there's loud...........THEN THERE'S CLEVELAND LOUD!
