1 (1) Cavaliers 46-14 The loss of Shaq will not hurt for the rest of the regular season but will be a factor if he is not ready for the post season.
2 (2) Lakers 45-15 Winning 3 out of 4 and getting Kobe back turned out to be a good week for the Lakers.
3 (3) Magic 40-20 Winning 7 out of 10 gives the Magic a little breathing room, now 2 games up on the Hawks with 22 to play.
4 (4) Nuggets 39-20 The Nuggets have been playing great basketball of late and hold a slim 1-game lead on the hard-charging Jazz as we head to the stretch run.
5 (8) Mavericks 39-21 7-game winning streak has the Mavericks is great shape to contend for the # 2 seed in the West.
6 (7) Jazz 38-21 Utah is going to be a tough team to beat as we head towards the playoffs
7 (6) Hawks 37-21 The Hawks are in great playoff position and could be anywhere between the # 2 seed to the # 4 seed come April.
8 (5) Celtics 36-21 Losing to the Nets at home is inexcusible.
9 (10) Suns 37-24 The Suns made a great decision to keep Amare' and are now playing their best basketball of the season.
10 (9) Thunder 35-23 Nobody wants to play Kevin Durant and the Thunder come playoff time in April.
11 (11) Spurs 33-24 The Spurs fell 4 1/2 games back of Dallas in the Southwest and are in danger of not making the playoffs for the first time in the Tim Duncan era.
12 (13) Trail Blazers 35-27 Winning 3 out of 4 last week has the Blazers in solid playoff position out West.
14 (15) Bulls 31-28 The Bulls won 2 out of 3 last week to move up in the Eastern Conference.
15 (14) Hornets 31-29 Losing 3 out of 4 last week will not help their playoff chances in the brutal Western Conference.
16 (17) Grizzlies 30-29 Split last week has kept the Grizzlies hanging around, but still a long shot to make the playoffs.
17 (20) Bucks 30-29 The Bucks are the hottest team in the league and are moving up quickly in the Eastern Conference playoff race.
18 (16) Rockets 29-29 Losing 2 out of 3 last week has the Rockets on the outside looking in on the playoffs.
19 (19) Bobcats 28-29 This young team is trying to make the playoffs for the first time in franchise history.
20 (18) Heat 29-31 4-game losing streak has hurt the Heat's playoff chances but they got Dwayne Wade back which will help.
21 (21) Clippers 24-35 The Clippers are in a bad spot with way too many teams ahead of them in the West to be thinking playoffs.
22 (22) 76ers 22-36 The 76ers are trying to get back into playoff contention, still some time left.
23 (23) Wizards 21-36 They cleaned house and have been winning...addition by subtraction?
24 (24) Pistons 21-38 The Pistons are in danger of not making the playoffs for the first time in a long time.
25 (25) Knicks 20-38 The Knicks need to go on a winning streak in order to get in the playoff race out East.
26 (26) Pacers 20-39 Losing 7 out of 10 has knocked the Pacers out of the playoff chase in the East.
27 (27) Kings 20-39 The Kings just don't have the talent to compete this year.
28 (28) Warriors 17-41 The Warriors are a mess, they have players but can't win.
29 (29) Timberwolves 14-47 The Timberwolves have alot of young talent and could make a run next year.
30 (30) Nets 6-53 Will the Nets reach 10 wins on the season? 4 more to go, stay tuned...
