Cavs Keep Cleveland Rocking, Turner, Buckeyes Nearing Top Of Big Ten
So when exactly is LeBron going to let someone else enjoy the player of the week honors? Honestly, I hope never as again he just continues to bring home the awards and add to his legacy with unbelievable play on the court with remarkable plays, and the ability to keep his teammates involved. The Cavaliers continue to impress many people with this amazing winning streak with wins over the Grizzlies, Heat and Knicks this past week. Shaq continues to improve as well and keeps dominating under the glass allowing no easy layups for the opposing team. Right now, I'd say Cleveland is playing by far the best basketball of any team in the league but they need to continue to play smart, physical and as a team to keep building distance between them and the rest of the league.

On to some trade rumors surrounding the Cavs, which I'm not in favor of. I don't see them needing to make any trades and I will continue to say this unless they can bring back Z 30 days after the trade deadline. He is vitally important to the success of the Cavs and if we were to lose him, that would make us thin on the front line in terms of our bigs. I'm also very anxious to see how well this team can be once we are fully healthy and have everyone on our roster back such as Delonte, Mo and Leon Powe. Adding that to our bench will make Cleveland very, very difficult to beat regardless of if they are on the road or at home.
Moving on just a bit to the Buckeyes mens basketball team, has anyone even noticed the run Ohio State has been on since the return of Evan Turner and what he truly means to this team? He is just flat out insane and I'd love to see him and John Wall go at it one on one. I really feel that he is possibly the best player in the NCAA right now and would give Wall all he could handle and then some. Ohio St ranks second in the Big Ten right now, just a game back of the Spartans and are looking to improve in terms of the standings but it won't be easy as they travel to Indiana and Illinois this week. However, the game I'm looking forward to watching is when they host Purdue in Columbus on the 17th, but let's try not to get too far ahead of things.
Overall, at least for right now, things are somewhat silent on the lakefront, but give that sometime as the Tribe isn't far from starting up the engines. Until next time for theclevelandsportsreport.com, I'm Nick Broulis and I hope you enjoyed another addition of "This Week In CSR".........there's loud.........THEN THERE'S CLEVELAND LOUD!
