RANK (LW) TEAM RECORD
1 (1) Kansas 22-1 Kansas keeps on rolling after theri lone defeat, but will face a challenge this week at Texas.
2 (3) Syracuse 23-1 Their defense has been clamping down at crunch time in tight games, as they lead the Big East with a 10-1 record.
3 (4) Kentucky 22-1 Kentucky bounced back form their loss with a couple good wins, and have Tennessee coming to town this week.

Kentucky has an excellent chance to be a # 1 seed come March.
4 (2) Villanova 20-2 Nova finally lost their first Big East game, losing in a shootout on the road to Georgetown.5 (6) Purdue 19-3 Purdue snuck by Indiana on the road last week, as Robbie Hummel keeps leading the way for this top contender.
6 (7) West Virginia 19-3 They keep winning with defense and athleticism, but have Villanova and Pittsburgh this week, with could give them a stumble.
7 (8) Georgetown 17-5 The Hoyas fell to a red hot South Florida squad on the road, but bounced back to outscore Villanova at home.
8 (5) Michigan St. 19-5 Michigan St. lost Kalin Lucas to an injury last week, and lost both of their games on the road, to fall back to the pack in the Big Ten race.
9 (10) Duke 19-4 Duke has a slight lead in the ACC, and will have North Carolina and Maryland this week to prove they are the top team.
10 (9) Texas 19-4 Texas is stumbling a bit after taking over the top spot a few weeks ago, losing to Oklahoma last week. They have a chance at redemption with Kansas coming to town.
11 (11) Kansas St. 19-4 I have had them underrated for some time, bu they have shown a lot the last couple of weeks.
12 (12) Ohio St. 18-6 The Buckeyes are hitting their stride at the right time, and have a chance to take over the top spot in the Big Ten.
13 (13) Wisconsin 18-5 The Badgers knocked off Michigan St. and Michigan last week with a tremendous defense that held both teams under 50 points.
14 (14) Gonzaga 19-4 The Zags had a couple of blowout wins last week, and will need to keep that up to gain a top-3 seed in the tournament.
15 (15) Tennessee 18-4 Tennessee swept their two games last week, but have two road games that they need to split, heading to Vanderbilt and Kentucky.
16 (19) Butler 20-4 They are clearly the strongest team in their conference, sitting at 13-0, five wins away from a perfect conference record.
17 (24) Northern Iowa 21-2 They are a team to watch come torunament time, as they have all the ingredients to make a strong run, wiht a stout defense and precise offense.
18 (16) Temple 19-5 They took a big loss at Richmond, as their defense was no where to be found.
19 (17) Pittsburgh 17-6 Pitt split two games last week, and now have lost 4 of their last 6, falling to West Virginia on the road.
20 (22) New Mexico 21-3 They have two difficult road games on the horizon, heading to UNLV and Utah this week.
21 (18) BYU 22-3 BYU split their two games last week, falling on the road to UNLV.
22 (21) Baylor 17-5 Baylor has shown a bit of up and down lately, splitting their two games last week, falling at Texas A&M.
23 (20) Georgia Tech 17-6 They still are pretty inconsistent, but they have beaten some very good teams, but lost to Duke last week.
24 (23) Vanderbilt 17-5 Vanderbilt lost a tough road game at Georgia last week, and have Tennessee and LSU coming to town.
25 (25) Mississippi 17-6 Ole Miss is a bit up and down the last few weeks, after splitting their two game once again.
